Gunung Ledang (Ledang Mountain aka Mount Ophir) is a mountain locates in a district of Ledang, state of Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia. Located nearby a small town name Asahan, state of Melaka. (near to the border of these two states). With the height of 1,276 meters, Gunung Ledang is the highest mountain in the South of Peninsular Malaysia.

At the 14th Century, the Chinese sailor which always travel thru & flow at the Strait of Malacca then called that mountain as "Kim Sua" which means 'Golden Mountain'. There was another source stated that the Jawa during the rule government of Majapahit empire was named that mountain as 'Gunong Ledang', meanings 'the mountain from far away'.
